This Privacy Policy explains what information TATEWARE ("we", "us") collects when you use tateware.com and our software, and how we use it. It reflects how the site actually operates.
Information we collect
- Order & product-access data. When you buy a product, our payment provider collects the details needed to process payment and attach access to your verified account (such as your email address). Payments are handled by our third-party processor, SellCommerce (sellcommerce.io); we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Support and community communications. When you use our support portal, email us, or interact with our Discord community, we receive the information you provide. A portal ticket includes your name, email address, selected product, issue details, troubleshooting steps, optional order reference and the messages exchanged with staff.
- Support security and activity. We process session identifiers, read state, short-lived typing/presence signals, timestamps, browser/device information and IP-derived abuse signals so live chat works, staff can see whether a reply was received, and we can prevent spam. Presence and typing signals are transient; access and IP values stored by the support application are cryptographically hashed where practical.
- Analytics & advertising. We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure traffic and ad performance. It may set cookies and collect standard event data (page views, product views) tied to a browser identifier.
- Technical/session cookies. Secure, first-party cookies keep staff signed in, let a customer reopen only the ticket they are authorized to view, and protect forms against cross-site request forgery. They are not advertising cookies and are marked Secure, SameSite and, for authentication, HttpOnly.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting records standard request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security and operations.
How we use information
- To process orders and attach purchased product access to your account.
- To provide live customer support, route issues to the right product and worker, and show delivery/read state to staff.
- To measure and improve our site and advertising.
- To detect abuse, fraud, and protect the service.
Sharing
We share data only with providers needed to run and protect the service, including our payment processor (SellCommerce), hosting/CDN/security infrastructure, and our analytics/advertising provider (Meta) on marketing pages. The Meta Pixel is disabled in the support portal and all staff/admin areas. Authorized support workers can access tickets as needed to resolve them. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies will not prevent you from purchasing or using the software. Essential support cookies are issued only when you open or recover a ticket; clearing them signs that browser out of the ticket unless you kept its recovery code.
Your choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. You can opt out of Meta advertising via your Meta ad settings and your browser's cookie controls.
Data retention
We keep order and license records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal/accounting requirements. Support tickets and their audit history are retained only while reasonably needed for support, abuse prevention and dispute handling, then deleted or anonymized. Live presence and typing state expires automatically when a connection ends. You may request deletion, subject to legal or fraud-prevention obligations.
